The State Duma explained why only one T-34 tank took part in the Victory Parade in Moscow

The Defense Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation commented on the discussion on social networks about one of the functions of the current victory parade on Red Square. As viewers noticed on the morning of May 9, the mechanized part of the parade featured armored vehicles, missile systems and only one tank, a Soviet T-34-85.

The parade on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Victory lasted about 45 minutes, there was no air unit. After the event, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the heads of seven CIS countries walked to the Eternal Flame in the Alexander Garden to lay flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
