Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro accused of the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, from causing even more tension in the conflict around Ukraine.
“It is very disturbing that the representative of European democracy speaks as a supporter of war and does not open the door for peaceful diplomacy. Why diplomacy? For war? … Josep Borrell keeps adding fuel to the fire with his statements, it shouldn't be like that,” Maduro said.
The Venezuelan leader also reminded that diplomacy exists for dialogue, rapprochement, understanding and the search for peace.
