The refusal of civilians in Severodonetsk to leave the premises of the chemical plant “Azot” was announced by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration (OVA) Sergei Gaidai. RBC writes about this with reference to the Ukrainian media.

Gaidai said that the people of Severodonetsk, who are located on the territory of the hip company, were allegedly offered evacuation many times, but did not want to. According to him, there are 568 civilians, including 38 children.

LPR Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik explained on Saturday that agreements on the opening of the Azot humanitarian corridor were not reached due to Ukraine's rejection of the ceasefire.

Earlier, Chechen chief Ramzan Kadyrov said in a statement. a video of a telegram channel in which a woman named Raisa said she was one of seven civilians who dared to leave one of the cellars in the industrial zone in Severodonetsk. According to her, there were about 180 people with her, including 20 children. People, she said, are afraid to leave the place where they are hiding from the shells.
