There is no reason for Russia saved the former diplomatic presence in Western countries, as stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. He said this at a meeting with university graduates who were first accepted into the diplomatic service.

Earlier, Lavrov said at a press conference on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly that the West intended to resolve the confrontation in Ukraine “on the battlefield” . He recalled that on March 29, at a meeting in Istanbul, Russia was offered the principles of conflict resolution. Moscow accepted these proposals without changes and also forwarded them to the Ukrainian side. According to him, events took place in the Ukrainian village of Bucha and the list of the dead was not handed over to the Russian side.
