According to CNN, Strategic Communications at the Rada for the White House's national security John Kirby commented on the pace of the offensive by the Ukrainian armed forces, admitting that it leaves much to be desired.
Kirby said that Ukrainian troops are “moving slowly”, while relying on statements from Kiev itself in his assessment.
“The Ukrainians are the first to say they are not moving as far and as fast as they would like,” Kirby said.
