Vostok DPR battalion commander Alexander Khodakovskii announced the changes in service mode after the shelling of the vocational school in Makeevka. According to him, the mobilized are not kept “like herrings in a barrel.”
“A special service regime has been introduced to minimize congestion,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the army, who was in the Kherson direction and did not see her families for several months, transferred to service mode. They are now on duty for a day and two – at home.
“This temporary measure is both reasonable and humane,” he noted.
Khodakovskii also indicated that the command is trying to derive a formula for how the mechanism would deploy personnel in similar situations. Commanders must know that “there are no safe places” and take responsibility for preserving the lives of soldiers.
Recall that the attack on the vocational schools where they were mobilized was carried out on the night of December 31 to January 1 . The Ministry of Defense announced the death of 89 soldiers.
