The former head of Israel's special services, military expert Yakov Kedmi, told the Solovyov LIVE program that Russian President Vladimir Putin learned from his youth one Leningrad principle that would help him “destroy the West”; in the event of a possible collision.

Kedmi noted that in a hypothetical nuclear conflict, those who use nuclear weapons sooner and more effectively will be favored.

“Therefore, there is hardly any point in delaying it, especially if remember Putin's expression about what he learned in the courtyards of St. Petersburg”, — believes Kedmi.

"If nuclear war is inevitable — then start first and strike as hard as possible”, — expressed the opinion of an expert. Kedmi added that the West's strategic weapons will be the target of Russia's pre-emptive strike.

Previously, Vladimir Putin, speaking about his youth, said the famous line: “If a fight is inevitable, you must strike first.”

Recall that the day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin called on those who claim that Russia can use nuclear weapons to read the Russian military doctrine.
