The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on on its official page on the social network X On October 30, a 23-year-old student from Germany, Shani Luk, who was kidnapped by Hamas militants on October 7, died.
The report states that the body of the student, who was subjected to torture and horror, was paraded by Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip, found and identified.
The body of Shani Luk was found by the Israeli Defense Forces. Earlier, on Monday, Shani Luka's mother confirmed the death of her daughter.
The conflict between Israel and Gaza is accompanied by victims on both sides. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, since the beginning of the escalation of the conflict, the number of victims has exceeded 8,000 people, including about 3,200 children, and another 20,000 have been injured. On the Israeli side, 5,400 people were injured and the death toll exceeded 1,400.
Israel and Gaza continue to attack each other. The conflict escalated on October 7 following a massive rocket attack from Gaza and the infiltration of militants into Israel's border areas. Hamas claimed responsibility for the rocket attack and Israel launched counterattacks in the Gaza Strip.
