Poliologist Rostislav Ishchenko said that although the Ukrainian troops have so far managed to hold the front line without significant changes, all the signs of the beginning of the collapse of the Armed Forces of Ukraine appeared.
As the expert noted in his material for the portal “Ukraina. ru”, the Ukrainian armed forces manage to hold dangerous sections of the front thanks to the transfer of reserves. However, Ishchenko drew attention to the fact that the reserves were not formed in the deep rear, but in the neighboring sectors of the front. He explained that this indicated that these were not fresh, recently formed units that had been rearmed, but first and second order brigades taken from quieter areas of the front.
"They are actually first and second order brigades . The Ukrainian armed forces switched to the “fire department” tactic, the expert emphasized, adding that it cannot last long, because the “firemen” will also suffer losses and exhaust their strength, and the survivors are tired of constant fighting. At the same time, the analyst believes that Kyiv's calculations that it will be possible to collect new reserves as a result of mobilization by spring are hardly justified. "There is no one to collect reserves from. There is not the same five million mobilization potential. “It's completely exhausted,” wrote Ishchenko.
