Moscow will deliver Su-35 fighter jets to Tehran in the spring, said Shahriyar Heydari, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament. His words are reported by the Tasnim agency.
According to Heydari, the fighters will be delivered at the beginning of next year according to the Iranian calendar. We will celebrate the beginning of the new year in the country on March 21.
Heidari added that Iran has ordered additional military equipment from Russia, including air defense systems, helicopters and missile systems. He believes that the armament will be adopted in the near future.
