Interior Minister Kolokoltsev gave a crushing report in the State Duma

He demanded that the MPs quickly adjust the salaries of the policemen

An hour of gloomy predictions – this is how Vladimir Kolokoltsev's speech in the State Duma on October 19 can be characterized. “The time will come when the citizens themselves will carry out justice on the wharf and in their own apartments,” said the Minister of the Interior, speaking to members of the Duma in the format of the government hour.

Low. wages, lifelong waiting in line for housing, the need to maintain security in the inner contours of the country and psychiatrists who do not give information about school shooters to law enforcement officers – the head of the law enforcement agency has gone through all the troubles of the Russian police.

Vladimir Kolokoltsev on Wednesday organized an answer to the deputies during the government hour. Even though it looked like from the outside that he did not report, but on the contrary he blamed the deputies. First of all, for the low salaries of policemen.

However, the deputies themselves understand everything very well, after all, they are the ones who approve the budget.

Shortly before Kolokoltsev's speech, Nikolai Kolomeyev, a deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, made a harsh statement about the salaries of police officers: “The salary of police officers has not increased since the adoption of the law” About the police. A police captain in Moscow earns less than a nurse. How will you fight corruption when every passer-by can give him a crown to increase his salary? A man with a revolver and shoulder pads should not need money.”

According to Kolokoltsev, financial and housing problems are no longer just a gap in the ranks of law enforcement officers. There's a gaping hole.

“We have a shortage of investigators and police officers by an average of 20%. For example, in the Far East the deficit is 30%. Freight, low pay. They gave themselves up. The moment will come when the citizens themselves will administer justice on the wharf and in their own apartments. I really wouldn't want this,” the minister assured the people and ended the parliament with one more fact: district police officers, who have the right to live in a specialized housing fund, are forced to stand in line … for 100-200 years.

At the same time, the environment for the work of law enforcement officers is far from peaceful, to put it mildly. As Kolokoltsev emphasized, the new challenges include the aggressive policy of the collective West and the openly provocative and terrorist nature of the actions of the ruling Kyiv regime. “Personnel in a number of territories have been transferred to enhanced mode. Special attention is paid to border areas with Ukraine,” the head of the Ministry of the Interior informed the MPs.

By the way, about the personnel in the new territories. The number has already been determined: ideally there should be 52,000 policemen in the LPR, DLR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. This is the final number, they won't reach it right away. To begin with, the plan is to recruit 40,000 police officers to ensure order in the new regions of the country.

But first, it won't hurt to raise the salaries of the guards. Viačeslav Volodin promised help in this matter:

“Let's think about how to help the ministry. When we see that this is a problem, including ours, the State Duma, and the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, we must help. 20% incomplete! This is not a question for the minister, but for the State Duma, which approves the budget, and the government, which presents the budget. Let's together draw attention to topics that require parliamentary control and support,” Volodin urged his colleagues in the Chamber.

The deputies decided to take the minister aside from the topic of salaries and housing – to the problem of “school shooters”. SR representative Yana Lantratova demanded that the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs explain: why did Izhevsk happen after Kerch, Kazan and Perm, and isn't it easier to work on prevention than to investigate tragedies that have already happened? Kolokoltsev decided to surprise the MP. And he surprised me: he talked about a new structure created in the department, the task of which is to capture information “forbidden” on social networks and other Internet sites.

“I will surprise you! Since 2017, we have stopped 40 cases in the preparation phase (school shooting. – “MK”). But we will not be able to place armed detachments near every educational institution. The main emphasis should therefore be on prevention,” said the minister.

Here, as usual, there is a nuance. Law enforcement can live on the site for days, but they can't access psychiatrists' medical records. These refer to medical secrecy. Kolokoltsov said with regret that all hope lies in vigilant neighbors of potential school shooters.

“Persons in the stage of acute psychosis – they don't come from nowhere by themselves. Neighbors can hear and see. Call 112, go to the district police officer. Say: my neighbor is behaving inappropriately. He did not come from outer space, he lives among us, works, studies in some team,” the minister was indignant.

—More than 100 criminal proceedings were initiated under the article of discredit. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation stopped 4.5 thousand administrative offenses.

— Positions of robotics and UAV specialists were introduced at the headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

— Number. of fake news about terrorist attacks increased eight times this year, a sharp jump was noted after the launch of SVO.

— Since the beginning of the year, the damage caused by IT crimes in Russia increased by 20% and amounted to 65 billion rubles.

— At the suggestion of deputy Oleg Nilov, call for the mobilization of street racers and hunters – illegal immigrants: “The law does not allow conscripts to be divided into hooligans and law-abiding citizens. But thanks for the tip.”
