Polish Ministry of the Interior: Wagner fighters tried to enter Polish territory from Belarus

Fighters of the Wagner group, now based in Belarus, tried to break into Poland, the deputy head told CNN the Polish ministry interior to Pavel Yablonsky.
According to him, Warsaw is considering various reactionary measures, including the complete closure of the borders.
Yablonsky told the TV channel that “the threat from Belarus is quite real”: it is expected that the new attempts will violate the Polish border and possibly the airspace. He also said that Polish authorities were sending “more and more” troops to the border area. He did not specify how many forces he plans to deploy there.
Jablonsky also noted that Warsaw is considering “whatever steps will be necessary to protect the .. territory of . . . citizens, including the complete isolation of Belarus” and “the complete closure of the border.” .
At the end of July, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced the transfer of more than 100 Wagner Group fighters to Poland's border from Belarus.
