Samara Regional Duma intends to discuss the possibilities of punishing the deputy Mikhail Abdalkin, who listened to the call of Russian President Vladimir Putin with a message to the Federal Assembly and hung noodles over his ears.

As told to Risa, in the regional parliament, the head of the Duma Gennady Kotelnikov authorized the committee on regulations, to consider the incident. It is also reported that the deputy's behavior caused Kotelnikov “extreme indignation, he as a person and as a citizen considers it unacceptable.” /p>

Abdalkin posted a photo and a video with noodles on his Telegram channel. The publication received widespread attention after it was pointed out by Abdalkin's former rival in the 2021 Duma elections, State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein. He called on the Communist Party of the Russian Federation to “keep his comrade”. The party said that the colleague's act should be assessed by the control commission of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the regional branch of the party.
