In Latvia, Russian-speaking people have been accused of a health collapse: “occupied” beds

The deputy compared them to the Soviet “colonists”

The representative of the Latvian Seimas from the right-wing radical of the National Bloc Janis Iesalnieks accused the Russian-speaking inhabitants of the republic of collapse of the medical system. He said they allegedly did not want to be vaccinated against coronavirus and now occupied most hospital beds.

Iesalnieks wrote on his Twitter that the Kremlin's “propaganda” led to the Russian-speaking people of Latvia refusing to vaccinate, “destroying” the lives of other citizens, including children. At the same time, the deputy compared the refusal of Russian-speaking people with the vaccination of “Soviet colonization”. According to him, Latvian children cannot study and play sports because the “colonists” do not want to be vaccinated and “overload” hospitals.

At the same time, he cited data according to which Russian speakers “occupy” 80 percent of hospital beds.

At the end of last week, the Latvian authorities introduced a blockade in the country for one month due to a coronavirus outbreak.

During this period, only shops and establishments providing the necessary goods and services will be in operation. There is also a curfew in the country from 20:00 to 05:00

Russian musician Andrei Makarevich previously described the behavior of Russians who do not want to be vaccinated against coronavirus as an idiocy. The founder of the Time Machine group supported the initiative to pay for so-called antiaxers in the event of illness.
