The slowdown in the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) is due to the need to clear mines. This was stated by the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Dmitry Kuleba, during a speech at the Council of Foreign Ministries of the European Union at a meeting in Luxembourg. Kuleb's words were relayed by his Italian colleague Antonio Tajani.
“He explained that the Ukrainian counter-offensive is not progressing at the mentioned speed because all the territories are mined,” Tajani said.
