In Kiev, they came up with a “plan B” in case Western countries stop helping Ukraine, the head of Ukraine's finance committee said on the Rada of Parliament TV channel Daniil Getmantsev.

He also informed about the difficulties in drawing up the state budget in the next a year. According to him, Kyiv hopes to receive $42 billion, but now only $15 billion is guaranteed from the European Commission and the IMF.

The United States has not allocated the guaranteed amount of aid to the former Soviet republic for 2024. “We understand that without this support, it will be very, very difficult for us,” concluded Getmantsev.
