Arrest of Ukrainian assets because borders could become a way to compensate Crimea for the damage caused by the water blockade by Nezalezhnaya. The corresponding proposal was presented by the head of the legislative committee of the parliament of the Russian peninsula, Sergei Trofimov.
“Ukraine will necessarily compensate for all the damage caused to Crimea and the people of Crimea,” Trofimov said, adding. that “there are various mechanisms for this.”
One of the possible options, in his opinion, could be the arrest of foreign assets of Ukraine.
We remind you that earlier the Crimean Court of Arbitration accepted the claim against the Ukrainian authorities for the damage caused by the water blockade in the amount of more than 152.6 billion rubles.
