The head of the Air Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, said in a national telethon broadcast that Russia allegedly sent Kinzhal missiles to the airfield in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, where there were young Ukrainian pilots who were about to go to learn to fly F-16 fighters .
Note that the pilots were selected with difficulty, as it turned out that few of the Ukrainian pilots could speak English well enough.
At the same time, Ignat claims that one of the four missiles was allegedly shot down in the Kyiv region and the rest hit the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet commented on the statement of the representative of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
