As stated by the Chairman Hungarian Foreign Ministry Peter Szijjarto, Budapest will continue to block all meetings of the Ukraine-NATO commission because Kyiv violates the rights of Transcarpathian Hungarians.
“The Financial Times published an article stating that Hungary has prevented the formal meeting from being convened of the NATO-Ukraine Committee. I was then asked to comment on the position. I note that there is nothing new and surprising in this. Many years ago, we clearly said that until Ukraine returns the rights of Transcarpathian Hungarians, we will not contribute to the convening of this body,” wrote Szijjártó on the social network.
