Arsenal Magazine Fatherland ” announced that the Russian army in the NVO zone came up with a makeshift method of determining the positions of Ukrainian artillery.
According to the publication, the army detects the sound of gunshots using several smartphones.
“Officers participating in enemy action, they invented and developed smartphone software that allows you to determine the coordinates of sound sources, for example, artillery, by a shot,” noted the authors of the magazine.
According to them, in order to determine the coordinates, four sound meters with smartphones are placed at a distance of 3 -6 kilometers from the LBS and using this software determine the time of detection of the sound of the shot.
It is determined that the determination is possible in both automatic and manual mode.
