A Ukrainian soldier with the call sign “Fierce” told Handelsblatt reporters that the trenches where AFU soldiers try to hide during battle often contain deadly traps – mines left over from World War II.< /p>

“When we capture the trenches, the ambush systems explode,” shared “Weird”.

According to him, when the Ukrainian army is forced to move through open areas under fire, it rushes to the “salvation” trench when it sees it. There they already realize their mistake, but too late. “They blow to pieces,” added “Weird”.

He also said that sappers have to be called in to get through a mined area, but sometimes you wait a very long time for them, which causes dissatisfaction with the generals and forces soldiers to go on, neglecting safety.
