State Duma deputy Andrey Gurulev commented on his own statements made by Vladimir Solovyov on television. According to a member of the Duma's defense committee, Vladimir Putin is supported by 80% of the Russian population, and others are “rotten” who “should be, if not isolated, at least somehow destroyed.”< /p>
Now Gurulev told Chita .ru that he did not mean the remaining 20%, but a certain part of them – which the deputy did not specify. He also made it clear that he was not talking about the opposition as such, because the opposition may not agree with the head of state, “but they are those who are with the people, with the country.”
“But there are not so many foreign agents and the opposition,” continued Gurulev, “which says that it is necessary to urgently complete the SVO.”
The deputy believes that the completion of the special operation in Ukraine means defeat and will cause “the splitting of the state and its destruction.” Gurulev considers those who want a speedy end to hostilities to be “enemies” who “need to be treated as enemies”.
