President Joe Biden's dog, Commander, has been involved in several bites at the White House and in Delaware, according to US Secret Service emails, in which it is clear agency staff are expressing safety concerns about the German shepherd owned by the head of the United States.

The White House said the Bidens are developing new pet training after these incidents.

According to the New York Post, the commander has bitten seven people in four months.

The commander is not the only Biden. pets who don't know how to behave. Another Biden dog, Major, has also been implicated in biting incidents at the White House. And this German shepherd also had to move out of the White House, notes CNN.

Emails obtained under a Freedom of Information Act request by the conservative group Judicial Watch show the commander was involved in 10 incidents, including one in which a Secret Service officer had to be taken to a local hospital.

< p>“These shocking tapes raise fundamental questions about President Biden and the Secret Service,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It's a special kind of insanity and corruption when a president allows his dog to repeatedly attack and bite Secret Service and White House employees. And instead of protecting their agents, the Secret Service tried to illegally hide documents about the Biden family's abuse of their agents and officers,” Fitton added.

According to the New York Post, 80 years…old Joe Biden reportedly expressed doubts about the honesty of a Secret Service official who said he was bitten on the leg by his previous dog, Major, and the White House voluntarily withheld information about attacks involving both animals.

The commander, who is about two years old, arrived at the White House in 2021. In one of the incidents described in the Secret Service emails, the officer was taken to a local hospital in November 2022 after being bitten on the arm and leg by a dog. The dog allegedly bit the officer on the arm in the triceps area for no reason, and when the officer stood up, bit the quadriceps area of the leg. Another Secret Service officer said the victim of the attack reported “considerable pain” and said they were forced to use a steel cart to fend off another herding dog attack.

According to the emails, other incidents occurred when the commander was walking through the territory unsupervised.

A German shepherd owned by the President of the United States injured the skin on the hand of another Secret Service official weeks later after Joe Biden released the dog outside the White House after a family movie, reports show, and the following month the commander bit a Wilmington (Delaware) security technician on the back at the Biden home.

During one incident in October, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden did not “gain control” of the dog when the animal attacked a Secret Service Agent.

“I believe it is only a matter of time before an agent/officer is attacked or bitten,” a Secret Service official wrote in an e- email.

“The White House complex is a unique and often stressful environment for pets, and the First Family is working to improve that situation for everyone,” said Elizabeth Alexander, communications director for the First Lady of the United States.

< p>“They are working with the Secret Service and Executive Residence staff to develop additional tethering and training protocols and to create designated areas for the commander to run and exercise,” Elizabeth Alexander continued. “According to the Secret Service, each of the incidents mentioned was handled similarly to comparable workplace injuries, following the appropriate reporting and reporting procedures. The President and First Lady are incredibly grateful to the Secret Service and the staff at the residence of the Head of State for all they do to ensure the safety of themselves, their families and their country.”

The U.S. Secret Service is “aware” of incidents involving First Family pets, Anthony Guglielmi, chief of communications for the U.S. government's top security agency, said in a statement.

“Over the past several presidential administrations, the Secret Service has determined best to act in relation to pets, and these incidents were no exception. We take the safety and well-being of our employees extremely seriously,” notes Guglielmi, adding that employees are encouraged to report any workplace injuries.

“Therefore, we are aware of incidents involving the home in the past. first-family pets, and these cases were treated similarly to comparable workplace injuries, including appropriate notification and reporting procedures,” he emphasized.

Special agents and Secret Service officers, according to Guglielmi, “do not care for first-family pets families and are not manipulated', but 'continually work with all relevant structures to minimize adverse impacts in an environment that includes pets.'
