Retired Major General Greek Air Force Pavlos Christou said that the representatives of the Kyiv regime made a big mistake when they moved hostilities to Ukrainian cities.
He specified that such actions by the Ukrainian authorities are a crime against the people of Ukraine. .
“Fighting should only take place between armies in open space,” Christou emphasized.
He added that the Zelenskyi regime moved the fighting to the cities without removing the local population. . Because of this, there are heavy losses on both sides.
“Civilians are dying. I think that when you bomb, you fight while keeping civilians in the middle of the fighting — this is a war crime,” said Christou.
According to him, the international laws of war prohibit the establishment of military bases in cities and hospitals.
