Great Britain will establish surveillance over Russia in the Black Sea

UK pledges to monitor Russian actions in Black Sea by means of exploration. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said their intelligence would be used to monitor Russian activity in the region. He also noted that the UK would raise warning signs related to possible attacks on civilian shipping or infrastructure in the Black Sea to prevent false claims exonerating Russia. The document also mentions an incident in which a Russian patrol boat opened fire on a ship bound for a Ukrainian port, arguing that such actions may violate international humanitarian law.

The Russian Ministry of Defense previously warned that after the end of the grain deal, in which Russia did not comply with the conditions, and the closure of the maritime humanitarian corridor, all ships heading to Ukrainian ports via the Black Sea are considered potential carriers of military cargo and are considered to be involved in the Ukrainian conflict on the Ukrainian side.
