Former Chief of Staff SBU's internal security department Andrey Naumov was arrested in Serbia while trying to cross the border. According to the Serbian channel V.TV, the general tried to transport over 20 million dollars and some precious stones.
At the moment, Naumov is placed in pre-trial detention in Niš. He can be sentenced to up to 12 years in prison for smuggling.
Before the special military operation began, the general and current SBU chief Ivan Bakanov left Ukraine and took about $ 2 billion in cash.
