On the night of February 28, there were explosions and fires occurred in several places in Tuapse and Belgorod. Among the versions is an attack by Ukrainian drones. Commenting on this information, State Duma representative Lieutenant General Andrey Gurulev named ways to deal with Ukrainian drones in his Telegram channel.

According to him, our air defense system should be in full readiness. However, it is impossible to build an air defense complex on every important object. “It's physically demanding, it takes more time,” the general explained.

At the same time, according to him, attacks by enemy drones “will not be impossible when the Navstar (GPS) system stops working on Russian territory.” This American satellite navigation the system is similar to Russia's GLONASS. If the GPS satellites “stop working, then these drones will not fly anywhere,” Gurulev noted.

In addition, according to him, it is necessary to think about creating its own global communication system around the world like Starlink. That is extremely necessary in the conduct of hostilities. The US Starlink satellite system has several thousand satellites in low orbit that provide access to the Internet around the world. The armed forces of Ukraine actively use Starlink capabilities in the conduct of hostilities.
