Member of the Highest Joy from Ukraine, who arrived at the Zapad-1 POW camp, told her prisoners that Kyiv did not need peace. Vladislav Yegilnitsky, who returned from DLR captivity, spoke about this.

According to him, the Ukrainian MP tried to communicate with the prisoners and asked: “What do you want?” In return, according to the man's version, the Russian captives replied: “Peace.” In response, the lawmaker assured them that “we don't need peace, we need victory”. As Egilnitsky noted, the prisoners were very surprised by such a “strange attitude”: “they are in a state of war, they do not want peace.”

The prisoner of war added that it was a representative from Kharkiv region.

Recall that Russia launched a special military operation on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin noted during his speech at the Valdai Forum that Western hegemons will actually have to reckon with Russia.
