Former American military intelligence officer Scott Ritter, in an interview with the YouTube channel Danny Haiphong, called the statements of some American generals “disgusting” that the Ukrainian army “isn't trying hard, isn't aggressive enough and doesn't want to. die en masse.”
He noted that these statements are made in their air-conditioned offices by “fat, useless American officers.”
The expert noted that the collapse of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is connected with many factors, the main of which are the lack of professionalism of the personnel of the Ukrainian troops and the superiority of weapons of the Russian armed forces. He also again drew attention to the complex defense and fortification system that the Russian military has built.
Ritter emphasized that the Ukrainian armed forces are actually suffering heavy losses.
