Aged 84 years Russian military leader, colonel general, died. Fyodor Ladygin, former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. “Unfortunately, the former GRU chief, Colonel General Ladygin, died this morning,” said Nikolai Deryabin, chief of staff of the Military Leaders' Club of the Russian Federation.
Nothing has been reported about the causes of Ladygin's death. He is known to be buried in the Federal Military Memorial Cemetery in Mytishchi. Fedor Ivanovich graduated from the Academy of Aviation.
