Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said that The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is considering a pragmatic approach of the EU when considering the certification of Russian vaccines against coronavirus COVID-19. According to him, decisions should not be made on political considerations, but on the basis of economic arguments and a desire to help Europeans themselves.

“The process (recognition of the Russian vaccine – MK) is not easy, but it has not stopped,” said Grushko.

The diplomat added that in this situation “the most important thing is to make life easier for people” they must cross borders to be vaccinated.
