“Elected Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the CIS for Air Defense Problems,” according to the publication of the site dated September 10.
The material says that the “Council of Defense Ministers informs about the personnel appointment”; SNS and that “all representatives of the council voted for his candidacy.”
Officially the new appointment of the Ministry of Defense has not yet been announced.
In the middle of this week, Viktor Zavarzin, a member of the State Duma's defense committee, said that Surovikin is indeed starting a new job and that the position is “not bad”: “In the CIS or whatever it's called .”
