Russian Defense Ministry: Shoigu and North Korean leader discussed global and regional security issues

On a visit to North Korea, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu discussed global and regional security issues with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. This was reported by the Russian Ministry in the Telegram channel.
However, the Ministry of Defense did not publish other questions raised during the meeting between Shoigu and Kim Jong-un. It is known that on July 27, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation plans to participate in a military parade in honor of the anniversary of the end of the Korean War in 1950 — 1953.
Shoigu flew to North Korea on the evening of July 25. The purpose of the visit was to participate in events and also hold talks with individual North Korean officials.
On July 26, the minister met with Defense Minister Kang Sun-nam and Kim Jong-un. The last Shoigu interpreted the call of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Afterwards, Kim Jong-un and Shoigu watched a weapons exhibition in Pyongyang.
