State Duma deputy Sultan Khamzaev said he intends to turn to the RF IC with a request to initiate proceedings against actor Artur Smolyaninov, who left Russia and said in an interview that he is morally ready to fight for Ukraine.

“I think this fugitive artist should repeat the journey of Nevzorov (Alexander Nevzorov is recognized as a foreign agent in Russia) with a criminal case,” Khamzaev said.
He also stressed that such actors should be canceled contracts for all government contracts. He himself called Smolyaninov a traitor.
Earlier it was reported that Smolyaninov said in an interview that if he was at the front, he would fight on the side of Ukraine. He also noted that he “doesn't care” what happens to Russia, even if it remains one region and everything else “turns into radioactive ash”.
