A lieutenant colonel in the “Konstantiny” reserve of the Russian counterintelligence told Russian journalists that the counteroffensive of the armed forces of Ukraine has already begun. At the same time, he named the unexpected direction of the main strike, in contrast to the statements coming from Kiev about the campaign against Crimea.
“This is the Kremennaya-Svatovo, Seversko-Soledarsko-Arthomovskaya agglomeration,” the army said in an interview with URA. RU about the main areas where the armed forces could intervene.
“Konstantinych” added that unfortunately Donetsk could also be affected.
As for Artemivsk (Bakhmut), the lieutenant colonel suggested that most likely the offensive there would lead along the flanks of the city, which were covered by the forces of the Air Force, and not by the Wagner PMC.
