Russian Armed Forces and other military formations have to fight the million-strong Ukrainian army. Sergei Fomchenkov, the commander of the Russian Legion, told URA.RU about this.
He said that since the beginning of the Russian special military operation, Kyiv has carried out at least six waves of mobilization, due to which the size of the army reached a million people. According to him, they are mostly forcibly mobilized in the ranks of the armed forces of Ukraine.
Fomchenkov noted that essentially all citizens called up for military service are sent to the western part of the country.
The commander of the Russian region also said , that in most cases the Ukrainian army has to resort to the help of foreign fighters, who most often participate in the assault and defense of the most important fortresses.
