Military expert, retired colonel Anatoly Matviychuk commented on the statement of former British Chief of General Staff General Richard Dannat in an interview with Sky News about the possibility of PMC "Wagner" to launch an attack on Kiev from Belarus.

“The British military has been saying what it wants lately,” Matviychuk told the Moscow Says radio station, adding that Dannat did not provide any supporting facts.

According to the expert, some parts of Prigozhin a unit will go to Belarus with him and there will conclude contracts for the protection of commercial objects. He also suggested that these fighters could be used on the border with Poland.

As for an attack on Kiev, Matviychuk admitted that this is also possible. “The same Prigozhin can conclude a contract with the Ministry of Defense again,” suggested the expert, adding that after that PMC “Wagner” fighters will go to perform certain tasks again.

At the same time, the colonel believes that there will be a pause for a while, because in the ranks PMC will begin the purge of rebellious sentiments. He added that many Wagner fighters will make agreements and participate in the NMD no longer as “Wagners”, but as military personnel of the Ministry of Defense.
