Chinese television reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Vladimir Zelensky also confirmed the conversation. He wrote on social networks that the conversation was “long and meaningful”.
“I believe that this call and the appointment of the Ukrainian ambassador to China will give a strong impetus to the development of our bilateral relations,” Zelensky added.
