Canada to extend elimination of most-favoured-nation treatment for imports from Russia

Canadian authorities sent budget project, according to which Ottawa intends to extend the cancellation of the most-favoured-nation clause for imports from Russia.

The budget for 2023 provides for the corresponding adjustments to the tariff schedule.

“Waiver of tariffs on Russian and Belarusian imports from the preferences of countries with the highest advantages,” the document reads.
