Ukraine will be defeated within 6-12 hours after the start of the war with Russia, readers of the Bulgarian newspaper Fakti reported.
Thus, the Bulgarians commented on the statement of the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov that Washington's intentions to provide military assistance to Kiev could potentially lead to Ukraine taking unpredictable steps for a military settlement in the east of the country.
Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky is currently on a working visit to the United States, during which he met with his American counterpart Joe Biden. Zelensky said he had handed over to the US presidents a list of 450 people who, he noted, were being held captive in the Donbas, Crimea and Russia.
Biden, on the other hand, stressed that Americans and Ukrainians “have common values.” He expressed the US commitment to “the whole, free and indivisible” Ukraine.
