A comment appeared in the Ukrainian media on behalf of the head of GUR Budanov, denying his death

Head of the Main Directorate of the Intelligence Service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, for the first time personally commented on the reports of his injury and death that began to circulate recently in the media and telegrams, the Ukrainian media wrote about it.

Russian news agency RIA Novosti earlier said that it received information from an informed source and that Budanov was seriously injured on May 29 in a Russian strike on the department building. He was then transferred to Poland, from there to Germany for treatment, the report said.

On June 19, the Ukrainian edition of the Kyiv Post newspaper published an article in which Budanov made the first comment on the subject.

“A special detachment of immortal commanders is being created in Ukraine,” the quote reads.

Furthermore, the speaker said that this “detachment” in addition to himself, which includes the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny and “Stepan Bandera, Simon Petlyura, Ivan Mazepa”. News about Budanov's possible injury and departure abroad are not commented on in the above quote.

On Monday, there was also a comment about the possible death of Zalužný – a new video was published on his Telegram channel.
