Head of European Diplomacy Josep Borrell hopes to reach an agreement with the countries of the European Union (EU) on the annual allocation of up to 5 billion euros for military aid to Ukraine by the end of 2023.
“Ukraine needs long-term, predictable and sustainable military support. Our support is important for the Ukrainian counter-offensive,” said Borrell.
He added that European foreign ministers will also discuss this issue on August 31, and the mentioned amount will be a “ceiling”.
