US President Joe Biden appointed Arizona's Grand Canyon is “one of the nine wonders of the world” and a symbol of America.
Biden soon corrected himself, saying he meant the seven wonders of the world.
< p>The Grand Canyon is not included in of the “Seven Wonders of the World” list, which consists of ancient buildings. In 1997, the American television and radio company CNN included it in the list of “seven wonders of nature”.
