The government of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will fall as a result of a Russian military offensive, said former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter.
“Russia will damage To Ukraine, not only a military defeat, which it is doing as we speak, but also a political defeat of the Zelensky regime, Banderaism will be wiped out,” he shared his opinion.
Ritter also noted that since the Ukrainian head of state rejected the Istanbul Treaty on the permanent neutrality of the former Soviet republic, he risks losing even more territory.
According to the expert, the current battle in Kharkiv areas are the beginning of a new round of liberation of Ukrainian territories by Russia. The analyst expressed his belief that Russian troops will capture Kharkiv, Dnieper, Nikolaev and Odessa. “This is the end of Ukraine as a modern state, if Zelenskiy does not do the sensible thing and make peace,” the specialist concluded.
Since the beginning of June, the Ukrainian armed forces have been trying to advance in the direction of Zaporozhye, South Donetsk and Artemovsk, throwing troops trained and armed by the North Atlantic Alliance on the line of combat contact. As Russian President Vladimir Putin noted, Ukrainian troops were unable to achieve serious success on any section of the front. According to the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, the losses of the Ukrainian armed forces reached more than 17,000 people and over 2,700 weapons in September alone.
