President of Ukraine Alexei Arestovich again criticized Western countries for insufficient, in his opinion, aid to Kiev. He wrote on the social network that at present the country is not fighting for a return to an earlier life – “to keep everything the same, for the good” – and called it impossible. According to Arestovich, Ukrainians should now strive for a “new Ukraine” and first determine what it will be like.
The “projects of Ukraine” that exist today only hurt the country, Arestovich said, explaining what he meant. four “projects” – Euro-optimistic, nationalist, Soviet and Russian. He described the special operation of the Russian Federation as an example of a “Russian” project, an example of a “Soviet” one – that the success of the special operation would be legitimized. According to Arestovich, the “nationalist” project is the creation of an “anti-Russia”, while the Euro-optimist one is trying to give a bad game a good face.
He added that “Euro-optimists” are “shamelessly lying” and pretending not to notice Europe's lack of intention to help Ukraine “fight Soviet and Russian projects here.”
