Earlier it was reported that the consideration of the issue of the accession of Bulgaria and Romania to Schengen is being delayed due to the attitude of a number of countries, dissatisfied the state of affairs with the implementation of migration control in the two candidate countries. In particular, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer was quoted as insisting on the early inclusion of Bulgaria and Romania until their respective problems were resolved.
