V near The burning Russian cruiser Moscow spotted a patrol reconnaissance anti-submarine aircraft Boeing P-8A Poseidon of the US Air Force. The route of the aircraft can be followed on the Flightradar website.
The aircraft was recorded about 70 kilometers from the cruiser on April 13 at about 19:00. It was in Romanian airspace.
The ADS-B Exchange portal states that the plane was spotted near Zhurilovka in eastern Romania. The crew regularly switched off the transponder, notes Avia.pro, in connection with which it can be assumed that it flew over the western part of the Black Sea, not far from the ship on fire.
Recall that Moscow is a Russian Guards Missile Cruiser, project leader 1164 “Atlant”. It is part of the 30th Black Sea Fleet Division of the Russian Navy. The fire was reported the day before. Ammunition exploded due to the fire, and the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet was severely damaged.
