By National Interest Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov expressed the opinion that in the current situation it is no longer “news” for anyone; direct involvement of US authorities in the Ukraine crisis.
According to the diplomat, Washington is openly increasing arms supplies to Kiev, providing intelligence and jointly planning military operations against Russian armed forces, as if they are “testing Russia's strength.”
“They want to check how much patience we have so as not to react to openly hostile actions… In fact, Washington is pushing the situation towards a clash of the largest nuclear powers, full of unpredictable consequences,” Antonov emphasized.
