Ukrainian Armed Forces they fired for the first time using American Javelin anti-tank systems. It happened in Donbass.
According to the local TV channel “Dom”, there was a shooting at the shooting range. The complex is designed to destroy armored vehicles. After firing, the projectile aims at the target itself, which allows it to achieve almost 100% accuracy of shooting.
Currently, Ukrainian troops are armed with almost 100 launchers and also about 500 missiles for anti-tank systems Javelin.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova said that NATO was increasing arms supplies to Ukraine. According to her, this contributes to the worsening situation in the country. In particular, she recalled that Kiev recently received 20 Javelin missile systems. At the same time, Zakharov expressed the hope that the curators of the Ukrainian authorities would be able to persuade them to abide by the Minsk agreements, as the escalation in the Donbas could lead to the most dire consequences.
