The Baza Telegram channel published a video of the conflict that took place on the sidelines of the PABSEC summit in Ankara between representatives of the Ukrainian and Russian delegations. Earlier, a source from the Russian delegation said that a member of the Ukrainian delegation attacked the secretary of the Russian delegation, Valery Stavitsky.
Now it turned out that in the lobby of the hotel where the meeting took place, journalists of the 60 Minutes program filmed a story – they interviewed a member of the State Duma Olga Timofeevova, who is the acting head of the Russian delegation.
However, the MP from Ukraine Alexander Marikovsky stood behind her, unfurled the Ukrainian flag and started shouting pro-Ukrainian slogans.
Then Valery Stavitskyi tore Marikovsky's flag from hand and started walking away with her. Marikovský caught up with Stavitsky, regained his flag and dealt several blows to the staff of the international department of the State Duma. A few seconds later, representatives of the summit organizers separated the men.
